This August, we’re celebrating the 19th Amendment, ratified on August 18, 1920. It wasn't just a political victory; it was the culmination of decades of perseverance, grit, and community building. This month, we’re taking that "Rosie the Riveter" spirit to the streets for a civic scavenger hunt.


Your mission is to chart a course through your city that highlights women’s history, public service, and the landmarks built by or dedicated to the women who shaped your com

  • Distance: 3–5 miles (your choice, based on the level of your team)
  • Weight: Rucker's choice
  • The Mission: Create a route that visits 3–5 local landmarks relevant to women’s history or civic impact
  • Need ideas? Look for historical plaques, libraries, city halls, courthouses, public parks named after influential women, or sites of former industrial/manufacturing history where local women contributed to the war effort.
  • The Vibe: Wear your best "Rosie" workwear (denim/red bandanas) or the traditional suffrage colors (white, gold, and purple).
